Morocco’s name in Arabic is: al-al Mamlakah – Maghrebia, which means the Kingdom of Morocco. The Maghreb word simply means: the place where the sun sets. Morocco is located in the extreme west of North Africa, a modern Muslim kingdom, it is one of the best tourism destinations. Morocco has international borders with Algeria, Spain and Mauritania. The sea offers north and west of Morocco a natural boundary. In the south and east are the desert and the mountains that form the borders, particularly with Algeria. Other Moroccan cities that have the markets are Casablanca with Central market, Meknes market which is close to El-Hedim square, Essaouira is different than the other Moroccan cities while talking markets, the alleyways that starts from la Place Moulay Al Hassan to Bab Marrakech, compromise crafts of the thya wood, carpets and Babouches.
Morocco is a big country where the climate varies with one another. Morocco has Mediterranean climate and it is usually dry throughout the year but more rains from November to March. The hottest months of a year are July and August and temperature can reach as high as 40°Cin Marrakech and 50°C in the desert. However, in the coastal area like Essaouira, you can enjoy summer breeze from the ocean and relief from extremely hot weather in the midland.
